Legal Considerations Agreement
For the purpose of this document, the terms Client, Owner, Pet Owner and Customer are synonymous with the person contracting services for one or more domestic animals.
*Signed copies of all documents must be completed before service can begin.
*HIGH5! will not be responsible for any damages to home and contents beyond their control unless caused by a negligent act. This includes but is not limited to leaks, electrical problems and acts of nature. All repairs will be paid by the client.
*HIGH5! agrees to be fully insured at time of service.
*HIGH5! will only be responsible for the security of the Client’s premises to the best of their ability. HIGH5! cannot be responsible if parties other than the Client have access to the Client’s home or if the home has not been properly secured by the Client.
*Client must have legal rights to place animal(s) in the care of HIGH5!. HIGH5! will not service a Client with “visiting” pets without a signed service and legal agreement by the owner(s) of all animals.
*HIGH5! is authorized to seek any emergency veterinarian assistance needed during visits, at the cost of the Client, from any veterinarian as chosen by HIGH5! as warranted by any emergency.
*Pet Owner will be responsible for all medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to the HIGH5! employee, or other persons, by the pet. Client agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend HIGH5!, in the event of a claim by any person injured by the pet.
*The terms of this agreement apply to all pets owned at the time of this agreement and any pets acquired after or during the terms of service of this signed and dated document.
*HIGH5! reserves the right to terminate service at our discretion if the Pet Sitter feels the Client’s pet poses a danger to the health and safety of, any other animals, persons, or the Pet Sitter. If concerns prohibit the Pet Sitter from caring for the pet, the Client authorizes the pet to be placed in a kennel (or previously arranged locale), with all charges (including but not limited; to transportation, kenneling, tranquilizing, treating, accessing, and liability) to be the responsibility of the Client.
*HIGH5! agrees to provide services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of the services as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against HIGH5! and it’s employees, except those arising from negligence.
*Client agrees to notify HIGH5! of any concerns within 24 hours of services.
*Client is responsible for pet proofing house and yard. HIGH5! will not be responsible for unsecured/broken gates, latches. HIGH5! will not be responsible for the safety of or liable for the injury, disappearance, death or fines of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.
*Client agrees to pay a $20 charge on all returned checks.
* Client agrees to give 24 hour notice of cancellation of service/boarding. If less than 24 hour notice is given, client agrees to pay a 20% charge.
*This agreement is valid from the date signed and replaces any prior legal considerations or agreements. Client agrees to any further term changes relayed verbally to the client, emailed or mailed in writing to the client or posted to HIGH5! website.
The Pet Owner states that he/she has read this agreement in its entirety and fully understands and accepts its terms and conditions
